Check Out Your Favorite Celebrities’ Christmas Decorations

Last Updated on

Filipinos are big on Christmas decorations. But when it comes to taking the holiday home design game very, very seriously, it’s the celebrities who take the lead. From colorful trees to bright lights, you’ll find the joyous, festive spirit alive in A-listers’ sophisticated abodes.

Here are some of the celebrities who have dazzling, glamorous Christmas decorations, which you yourself can take inspiration from:

Kim Chiu

The chinita princess has a 12-ft tree standing at the foot of her house’s stairs. In her Youtube channel, she shared how she shopped for decorations and dressed the tree with different embellishments, including snow sheets, balls, and poinsettias. The former PBB housemate used a mix of holiday hues, including pastel pink, gray, white, and gold. Kudos to Kim, she spent almost seven hours perfecting her decoration. The hard work isn’t in vain, as her family members and friends met the entire ensemble with claps, wows, and smiles during their mini Christmas lighting ceremony.

Julia Barretto’s tree is special to her in many ways. It’s the first tree she set up in her newly-constructed home. It’s also the first that she herself decorated (with the help of some friends, of course). She also documented the fun design process on her Youtube channel. Settling with a pink theme, she adorned the tree with poinsettias, flamingos, Santas, and of course, lights and balls. She was originally planning to set up a classic green-red tree, but the youthful, fresh vibe of the pink theme just captivated her. She added that she wanted her seven-year-old sister, who likes pink, to enjoy looking at the tree, too.

Kathryn Bernardo

The teen queen took an unconventional, trendy approach for her Christmas tree, expressing her love for animals by embellishing with cute polar bears. Aside from the furry white friends, the tree has poinsettias, snow sheets, and balls. It also sports a white-blue color scheme, a color palette we might see more of in 2020. Posting on Instagram, Kathryn wrote that “the polar bears are simply the cutest things to wake up to every morning.” She also thanked Gideon Hermosa, a popular event stylist, for helping her decorate.

Being the go-to person of her siblings when it comes to Christmas tree decorations, the Rated K host has become an expert in beautifying spaces with the festive holiday atmosphere. So when designing the home she shares with former senator Mar Roxas, it’s no wonder she knows what to do exactly. The former news anchor mentioned in her Youtube channel that her husband likes classic holiday colors, so most of her decorations are in greens and reds. The embellishments she used in her tree this year include balls, ribbons, linens, pinecones, paper-made stars, and Santas. The last one is a creative flair for Korina’s kids, Pepe and Pilar.

Kryz Uy

The popular vlogger had a traditional take on her Christmas tree this year. The most prominent colors are reds and greens, but you can see a little bit of gold and silver here and there, as accents. The decorations she used were the traditional balls, poinsettias, and some mistletoes. Writing on Instagram, Kryz said that the tree is memorable for her and her husband Slater Young, as it’s his family’s old tree. She added that the decorations are from her mom and mom-in-law’s old collection, while admitting that it was the first time she decorated a tree by herself. Regine Velasquez

The Asia’s Songbird showed her dazzling Christmas decorations, while also giving her fans a peek at their home in her Youtube channel. All around the house, you’ll find decorations reminiscent of the holiday cheer. There are garlands in stairways, candelabras and wreaths in dining tables, pinecones and mini trees in console tables. But of course, the main attraction is the Christmas tree in their lounge room. It is embellished with balls, snow sheets, lamp-shaped glass ornaments, and flowers in pink, blue, gold, or silver hues. Regine shared that their theme for the Christmas decor is pastel.
