Last Updated on

Showbiz is currently one of the biggest industries in the country, thanks to the fanatic spirit of many Filipinos. When you’re a celebrity, chances are a little fanfare comes with your relationship status change, new car or new house. Any updates about celebrities keep fans glued to showbiz news. No wonder some of today’s richest are celebrities who have accumulated their wealth from endorsements and shows. If there’s one common thing they share, it’s the hard work they put in.

Take a look at some of the dream houses of the famous:

One of the most celebrated couples in Philippine showbiz, Doug Kramer and Cheska Garcia, has recently announced the completion of their dream family home after two years of building. On separate Instagram posts, the lovely couple shared some photos of the inside of the house as they talked about their moving in experiences. One of the highlights of the new home is Cheska’s dream closet, which, according to Doug, is bigger than the master bedroom. A smaller room is dedicated to yet another walk-in closet just for her shoes.  Doug has a man cave in the basement while the kids have an infinity pool with an open lanai to enjoy.  The children also have their home school filled with books, art supplies, and everything else for them to use to learn at home.

Slater Young and Kryz Uy

2012 Pinoy Big Brother big winner Slater Young and blogger wife Kryz Uy had shared last May on Instagram a photo of their house blessing with the caption “God bless our new home.” The house they fondly call ‘Skypod’ features a backyard, a swimming pool, and floor-to-ceiling glass walls. The name was actually a play on their initials – Slater, Kryz, Young.

Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico

Solenn Heussaff gave up the condo life to move in with her husband Nico Bolzico in a four-year-old multi-storey home. According to Solenn, she renovated and decorated the home herself to save on costs. Giving tips to her followers, Solenn shares her love for visiting home stores, hiring movers to transport their things, and getting their friends to help with the move.

Martine, who is included in Metro Style’s MetroMostStylish2019, says, “I take pleasure seriously,” with influences such as Jane Birkin and Alexa Chung helping her shape her own style.

Julia Barretto

A month before Julia Barretto was dragged into controversy with Gerald Anderson, the 22-year old actress made headlines as she shared her excitement about moving in her new house.  In an Instagram post in July featuring a photo of herself in bed, she also admitted she is nervous about the big responsibility that comes with the new chapter of her life. This is one of the most inspiring celebrity dream homes achieved by a young actress, and it took two years to complete.

Kathryn Bernardo

An Instagram photo of the land bought by certified box office queen Kathryn Bernardo for her mom’s dream house made the rounds on the web recently.  The photo with the caption “Soon!” was actually posted by her mom, Min Bernardo. The 23-year-old actress hopes to kicks off the construction within the year.

It looks like Andi Eigenmann found her solitude in the mystical island of Siargao. Andi shared on Instagram a lovely photo of what looks like an ideal family with an unfinished structure of her dream house as a backdrop. Present in the picture is Andi herself, her kids, and her pro-surfer partner Philmar Alipayo.

Are wedding bells ringing soon for Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez? The beautiful couple is all set to build their dream home with the lot already purchased by Carla while Tom will shoulder construction expenses. The construction of a more likely four-bedroom house will begin next year or in 2021 and will feature an American craftsman interior and a contemporary and classic exterior.

Bianca Gonzalez

After announcing in 2018 that her family will be moving into their new home, Bianca Gonzalez posted an Instagram update this July to show the progress in the construction of her dream home. In her photo, Gonzalez said their firstborn approves of the property, which she will occupy with husband basketball player JC Intal and their two children.

Camille Co

Camille Co and husband Joni Koro are ready to take on the married life–starting with designing their walk-in closet, which will have enough room for their wardrobe, including their closet for shoes and bags. The couple, who have just come back from their European honeymoon, is working with a local home supplier to help with designing and installation processes.

The celebrity dream homes featured above are truly adorable. But what really makes them stand out is the fact that they are built (or are about to be built) by celebrities who have earned enough savings from their hard work. They owe it all in the success of their TV and film projects as well as their multi-million endorsement deals.
