Lamudi Philippines inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Makati-based school for Real Estate Management, iACADEMY, last May 18, 2023. The partnership aims to expand learning solutions for real estate practitioners and uphold academic excellence in the industry.
As a platform widely used by real estate agents and brokers, Lamudi goes above and beyond in helping these professionals fast-track their careers. By strengthening ties with iACADEMY, Lamudi can further support industry practitioners in achieving career success.
During the partnership signing ceremony, iACADEMY’s Chief Operating Officer, Raquel Perez-Wong, expressed excitement about the tie-up with Lamudi. “This partnership [will help us] elevate the practice of the real estate industry in the Philippines, and together we’ll equip [practitioners] and expand the [career] opportunities available in the country,” she said.
Empowered “Engines” of Growth
Considered one of the pillars of the property sector, real estate professionals play a crucial role in stimulating transactions. According to Anurag Verma, Lamudi Philippines’ Country Head, “Most of the listings [and] properties we have on the website come through real estate professionals, the agents, the brokers that we have […], and that is why we want to help them with all the assets they need.”
Verma added that iACADEMY’s expertise would greatly help the agents and the overall industry.
Last April 2023, iACADEMY graduates took the third and fifth spots at the real estate broker licensure exams. The institution recorded a 70% overall passing rate, proving it is one of the top-performing schools for real estate practitioners. In 2021, iACADEMY posted a 100% passing rate for the real estate appraiser examination.
Industry-Aligned Curriculum
Since its inception in 2002, iACADEMY has been a frontrunner in creating specialized programs in line with market trends. Its fast-track BS REM program allows real estate practitioners to keep up with new industry developments, all while providing access to state-of-the-art facilities and a network of highly sought-after professionals in various fields.
The program can be completed in just three terms (one year) by business degree holders. Meanwhile, non-business degree holders can accomplish the program in five terms (one year and six months).
iACADEMY’s fast-track BS REM program prepares students to become licensed professionals, and eventually leaders, in salesmanship, brokerage appraisal, and consultancy. The program enables students to earn technical, interpersonal, and conceptual knowledge through theoretical and practical applications and from a pool of experts in the real estate industry.
