Market Insights Straight from the Experts

Apart from providing an opportunity to touch base with other professionals, Lamudi Link allows professionals to learn from thought leaders in the industry. This June, property consultancy firm JLL Philippines will share the latest market trends and insights.

Earlier this year, the agency bared that sustainability will define the real estate landscape in 2022. They noted that the demand for green certifications is increasing, with both new and old offices working on satisfying the market’s requirements. They added that even policymakers are promoting green initiatives, as the Security and Exchange Commission released a memo back in 2019 requiring publicly listed companies to produce an annual sustainability report.

According to JLL, sustainability, along with safety and wellness, are ramping up technology adoption across occupiers. Some of the property technologies used by companies include contactless systems, access cards, automated sensors, and aircon filters.

The property consultancy firm is set to talk more about current and emerging real estate trends on Lamudi Link.

A Resilient Real Estate Sector

Although not a new concept, green real estate and proptech have become more popular amid the pandemic, as the crisis exposed vulnerabilities in different industries. As a result, people became more aware of their impact on the environment and turned to technologies to navigate the new normal.

In the upcoming The Outlook 2022: Philippine Real Estate AwardsLamudi will pay tribute to the collective strength the real estate industry exhibited throughout the coronavirus crisis. The new awards under the Special Awards category are specifically curated to honor property developers that remained resilient and innovative amid the pandemic.

The gala night, where winners will be announced, will happen on September 27, 2022. The event is co-presented by KONE and in partnership with Manila Standard, Business Mirror, Malaya, and Sunstar.

The Outlook by Lamudi is a series of events that gathers the most prominent and respected personalities in Philippine real estate to open avenues for discussion of the latest news and developments in the industry.

In the meantime, Lamudi encourages real estate professionals to join the conversation and networking happening at the upcoming Lamudi Link.
