Rush Purchase Transactions Entice Property Seekers, Lamudi Data Reveals

Living in a fast-paced society translates to more demand for quick solutions to any problem we encounter. In real estate, a brief and easy transaction is the best viable option for a property seeker.

According to Lamudi data, “rush sale” topped the list of searched terms on the property platform in the second half of 2022.

Rush sales could be brought about by the need for cash of the seller as soon as possible, or it could be because a client immediately needs a new abode. Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) who were back in the Philippines for the holidays may have also been interested in a quick process to complete the deal before they returned to their workplace out of the country.

In addition, property location is one of the top factors property seekers look for. According to the leading property platform, Parañaque, Cebu, Tagaytay, Batangas, and Makati were among the frequently searched areas.

Developers and their respective projects that are geared towards addressing client needs, like building transit-oriented communities in key hotspots in the country, can gain more traction from the property seeker of today.

“Pag-IBIG house and lot” also emerged as one of the top searched terms on the property portal. The Pag-IBIG Fund’s program for minimum wage earners and their longer loan tenure lead to smaller monthly payments for properties.

Therefore, developers must consider having flexible payment schemes to cater to any property seeker.
