Lamudi invites non-Lamudi subscribers to the upcoming Lamudi Academy Live, a learning session that will revolve around online presentations. The training event will be held on May 13, Friday, from 2PM to 3PM, at the Lamudi headquarters in Makati.
The top real estate platform in the Philippines invites non-Lamudi subscribers to attend its first in-person learning session this May. To be held on May 13, from 2PM to 3PM, at the Lamudi headquarters in Makati, the upcoming Lamudi Academy Live will zero in on the topic of online presentations.
The event is limited to 30 slots only. The learning facilitators encourage interested participants to register early to secure a seat in the training.
“A persuasive presentation is a critical piece in converting property seekers to property buyers. And in today’s digital age, the definition of a “face-to-face” interaction has also evolved — whether you’re physically sitting across from your client or in front of a computer screen, real estate professionals must constantly balance engagement and influence in order to bring the client over that finish line,” Michelle Martin, Learning and Development Coach said.
She added that online presentations have a unique set of considerations, particularly since interacting with clients on screen has its limits. But, if online presentations are executed and utilized properly, they can be an effective tool that bolster a client’s desire for a property. The Lamudi Academy team helps real estate professionals by sharing tips on how to prepare for the presentation, capturing attention and building rapport during the presentation, and what to do after, Martin shared.
The upcoming learning session will specifically provide tips and guidelines for preparing for the online presentation and facilitating good discussions with clients. It will include online meeting etiquette and post-meeting strategies that can help property seekers take action.
At the end of the session, attendees will be able to know and apply best practices before, during, and after online presentations.
Learning While Networking
As market recovery gains momentum, Lamudi continues to conduct in-person events for real estate practitioners. There will be another Lamudi Link, a business networking night, this month, which will gather brokers and representatives from development companies once again.
Lamudi CEO Kenneth Stern expressed his delight over the optimistic outlook on the industry, which inspires his team to improve in-person networking events further.
“As promised, we’ll be having Lamudi Link this May to provide an avenue for real estate professionals to touch base with each other. I’m happy that we’re able to do this given that the pandemic has halted our face-to-face interactions for two years. Let’s grab the opportunity to connect with fellow professionals without the hassle and worry of weak WiFI signals,” he said.
The Lamudi team is expected to present its most recent data, as well as emerging trends, and provide recommendations to attendees for improving their practice.
Stay Updated on Market Trends
In the recent business networking night, Colliers Philippines shared key trends in the residential and office sectors. Overall, the industry offers promising opportunities for brokers.
According to their report, office deals increased from 69,000 square meters to 134,000 square meters, an 18 percent increase from Q32021 to Q42021. The firm added that the office sector is a tenant-leaning market, presenting the ideal opportunity for consolidating offices or relocating.
Meanwhile, the residential industry saw a 159 percent increase in condominium completions in 2021. Bay Area is one of the must-watch areas, as it recorded a significant share in total condominium supply, overtaking Makati central business district.
Colliers casted an optimistic outlook on the residential industry as various factors support its growth, from the ramped-up vaccination efforts to the high demand for horizontal projects and the uptick in overseas Filipino workers’ remittances.
“At Lamudi Link, brokers can network with professionals, while keeping abreast of the latest developments in the industry. We hope to see more practitioners in our event this May,” Stern said.
More Learning Sessions
Recognizing the importance of multi-touch approach to serving real estate professionals, Lamudi continues its online events, including the Lamudi Academy’s learning sessions.
Last May 4 and 11, the learning facilitators conducted a session on real estate photography. The module focused on the best tips and techniques for capturing excellent, professional-looking photos. On May 25, there will be a virtual session centered on online presentations. It will run from 1:30 to 3PM, exclusively available for Lamudi subscribers.
“To property practitioners who want to upgrade their knowledge and skills, these sessions are for you. We deliberately designed these modules to accommodate the needs of modern-day professionals. We look forward to seeing you all at our learning sessions, and to have insightful and engaged conversations with you,” Martin encouraged.
