Ever wondered who are the condominium developers most recognized by the home buying public? Lamudi’s The Outlook recognizes who are the most popular for its users
Lamudi Philippines, regarded as the leading online real estate listing platform in the country held The Outlook event last November 29, 2017, where local real estate’s best players and projects were recognized via data generated from a 10,000-strong Lamudi home buyers’ survey. Among the most notable distinctions at The Outlook was for the Best Condominium Developer in Luzon.
Ayala Land
2017’s major award was Ayala Land Incorporated (ALI), which was recognized as the overall winner of the aforementioned Best Condominium Developer award. A Philippine-based real estate developer since 1988, ALI mainly specializes in developing and managing commercial establishments, residential communities, and office buildings.
Besides being named 2017’s Best Condominium Developer, Ayala Land was also The Outlook’s overall winner for Best Mixed-Use Developer due to its Nuvali estate – the country’s first and largest eco-city development. Nuvali is a 2,290-hectare gathering of residential communities and business spaces built on sustainable design principles. These include the Nuvali One Evotech, a community of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver-certified lifestyle centers, recreational venues, and other living spaces surrounded by over 51,000 trees.
ALI was also cited for having the Best High-End Housing Development and Best Housing Architecture thanks to its the Ayala Greenfield Estates project. The 350-hectare residential development located in Calamba, Laguna provides excellent views of Mount Makiling, Laguna de Bay, Tagaytay Ridge, and the Metro Manila cityscape. Recognition for Best Affordable Housing Project also went to ALI for its Avida Settings Cavite.
Recently, ALI started another project, Vermosa – a master plan community that thrives in fueling one’s passion for a healthy and active lifestyle. Vermosa is reportedly the fourth largest mixed-use estate of Ayala Land.
SMDC
A nominee for Best Condominium Developer at The Outlook Awards 2017, SM Development Corporation continues to commit itself to provide property buyers with access to luxurious urban living through vertical villages perfectly integrated with a commercial retail environment, allowing residents to enjoy a truly cosmopolitan lifestyle.
At The Outlook event, SMDC parent company SM Prime Holdings took home Best Commercial Developer. At the same time, one of the projects spearheaded by SMDC, Trees Residences, was also a top nominee for Best Affordable Condo Development.
SMDC will launch two residential projects in 2018: Fame Residences and Green 2 Residences. While the exact location of Fame Residences is yet to be announced, it has already been revealed that Green 2 Residences will be built in Dasmarinas Cavite. According to SMDC, the condominium development will be an ideal living location for students because of its proximity to the city’s major schools.
DMCI Homes
Another nominee for Best Condominium Developer at The Outlook held last 2017 was DMCI Homes. During the event, DMCI was recognized as the developer which users consider that offers the Best-Value for Money properties.
This in large is a result of DMCI’s strategy of selecting locations that are typically at the fringes of known business districts (such as the Pioneer Street area in Mandaluyong, C5 Road and Brgy. Ususan in Taguig, and Taft Avenue in Pasay) for the sight of their projects. Backed by DMCI’s engineering and building expertise, its condos and estates are highly sought-after by homebuyers thanks to both to design and resort-like amenities, as well as their affordability and locations.
The most recent project launched by DMCI is Fairway Terraces, a Balinese themed high –rise condominium with 5,000 square meters land area. Construction work has been progressing well on DMCI Homes’ Fairway Terraces residential condominium development in Pasay and continues to stay on track for turnover in February 2019.
Aside from these three most recognized condominium developers in the Philippines, Vista Land also bagged the Developer with the Best Customer Service Award during the The Outlook 2017.
