• Gather Required Documents: Prepare valid identification documents such as the following:
  • Primary Documents:
    1. PSA-issued Certificate of Live Birth AND one (1) government-issued identification document which bears the full name, front-facing photograph, and signature or thumb mark.
    2. DFA-issued Philippine Passport or ePassport;
    3. GSIS or SSS-issued Unified Multi-purpose Identification Card (UMID);
    4. Land Transportation Office (LTO)-issued Student’s License Permit or Non-Professional/Professional Driver’s License
  • Secondary Documents:
    1. PSA-issued Certificate of Live Birth/NSO-issued Certificate of Live Birth with Birth Reference Number (BreN)
    2. LCRO-issued Certificate of Live Birth
    3. PSA-issued Report of Birth
    4. PSA-issued Certificate of Foundling
    5. Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Identification Card

    These following documents shall be accepted as secondary supporting documents as long as they have a front-facing photograph, signature or thumbmark, full name, permanent address, and date of birth.

• Visit the Registration Center: Bring the original and photocopies of your required documents to the registration center on the scheduled date. Arrive early to avoid delays.
• Undergo Data Capture and Biometric Enrollment: A registration officer will verify your identity and input your personal information into the PhilSys database. Biometric data, including fingerprints, iris scans, and a front-facing photograph will also be collected to ensure accuracy and security.

• Receive PhilSys Number and Acknowledgment Receipt: Upon successful registration, you will receive your unique PhilSys Number (PSN) and an acknowledgment receipt. The PSN will serve as your permanent identification number.
• Wait for your PhilSys ID Card: Your PhilSys ID card will be produced and delivered to your registered address. The processing time may vary but expect to receive it within a reasonable period. In the meantime, you can use your PSN to identify and access government services.
