Hello! I’m a Senior Account Manager at Lamudi. Here’s a day in my life.

Lamudi Stories shows how a typical day goes for Lamudians as they work together for the leading online real estate portal in the Philippines.

In this entry of Lamudi Stories, we will get a sneak peek into the life of Tina Valencia, one of Lamudi’s Senior Account Managers, and learn how no two days are the same for her at Lamudi.

Hi! I’m Tina. As a Senior Account Manager, much of what I do involves overseeing, building, and nurturing strong relationships with a portfolio of assigned Lamudi developer clients. I am the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to our developer business and I work together with cross-functional internal teams in the company to ensure excellent customer experience.

While I haven’t been with Lamudi that long, it feels like the company has already given me years’ worth of experiences. I love how it feels that the company puts a lot of trust in me. And with this, no two days feel the same, which makes my life at Lamudi unpredictably exciting!

7 am – Rising and Shining

At 7 am, the alarm goes off but I snooze for 10 more minutes before I actually get out of bed. When getting to work, I sometimes take two short jeepney rides and brave the busy streets of Makati or hop into a Grab on days I’m feeling lazy.

8:30 to 9 am – Energy boost

This period is my zen time when I get myself energized by taking a quick bite. I sometimes bring a snack for breakfast but most times, because food is life in our team, I enjoy the food that my teammates share.

9 am to 10 am – Getting down to business

I use this time to read through e-mails and take note of what my to-dos are for the day. Tasks include preparing performance reports, calling up clients, requesting listing uploads, coordinating clients’ marketing requirements, and going into meetings.

10 am to 11 am – Updates, updates, and more updates

I call up clients to exchange updates on contract executions and statuses of leads.

12 nn to 1 pm – Break

I like taking out lunch either from our canteen on the 8th Floor or if I’m feeling more experimental, I head to restaurants within GT Tower. I spend the hour with my teammates over a hearty lunch mixed with fun stories in our area.

1 pm to 3 pm – Meetings

I usually reserve this period for client meetings. The role of a Senior Account Manager gives me an opportunity to meet and learn from no less than the owners and company executives of the leading real estate developers in the country. I frequently travel and schedule meetings at least thrice a week to personally listen to client feedbacks, hear their stories about how the leads have converted or how they successfully closed sales. I love going to meetings as this fuels my learning and allows me to have an avenue for out-of-the-box thinking. This also helps establish Lamudi’s presence as a top-of-mind partner for them.

3 pm to 6 pm – Team Alignment

The rest of the day could include brief meetings with our VP for Commercial Strategy to keep everyone up-to-date on developer accounts execution progress, Marketing colleagues to brainstorm for collaterals and developer journals, Business Intelligence team to discuss client performance, or simply catch up on our daily tasks.

6 pm until midnight – Time to recharge

One thing I love about being with Lamudi is that I get to have work-life balance. My shift ends at 6 pm and I get to out at this time to unwind and have my personal time. After work, I head to a nearby mall to leisurely walk, grab dinner, or directly head home to take my adorable furball Hassel for a run at the park.

I get to bed looking forward to another workday with Lamudi.
