Amanpulo Island: Palawan’s Best Luxury Resort

Crystal clear waters, the whitest sand beach, rich marine life, and other luxurious experiences—these are just some of the things Amanpulo Island is famous for. Hailed as one of the most expensive resorts in the Philippines, Amanpulo offers world-class services on a gorgeous island. Located in the Cuyo Archipelago of Northern Palawan, Amanpulo boasts pristine white sand, clear waters, and luxurious facilities.

Aman is Sanskrit for “peace” and pulo is Tagalog for “island.” As the name suggests, Amanpulo is perfect for vacationers who want a tranquil stay while having the best service. It is no wonder that a lot of local and several foreign celebrities and public figures book their vacation here.

The Expensive and Exclusive Stay at Amanpulo

Amanpulo, similar to the other resorts of the Singapore-based luxury hotel group Aman Resorts, is not a cheap place to stay. You can choose between a Casita or Villa, but these luxury accommodations offer priceless beach views. All accommodations here are designed tastefully, featuring the unique Bahay Kubo design, one of the most common vacation house designs.

A Casita costs around $1200 to $1900 or PhP 66,660 to PhP 99,990 per night. On the other hand, Villa costs $3,200 to $7,900 or PhP 177,760 to PhP 438,845 per night. Take note that this is inclusive of a roundtrip flight, food (except for breakfast), and other amenities the resort offers.

Roundtrip flights to and from Amanpulo Island cost $495 or PhP 27,497.25 per adult and $295 or PhP 16,387.25 per kid aged two to 11. This fare rate is even more expensive than commercial flights from the Philippines going abroad.

All in all, expect to spend at least $2,000 per night or more during your stay at Amanpulo. But this could start racking up depending on how many you are, the date of your visit, your room type, and the amenities you want to take advantage of. Nonetheless, you’ll get your money’s worth when you book your tropical island vacation here when you see and experience the picturesque view and breathtaking sea of this island.
