Tonglen Eco ResortThis 3,020 square meter Eco resort is located along the main road of Station 3, Boracay Island. The resort has been operating for like 33 years now and loved by the guests from almost around the world because of its naturalistic ambiance and its eco-friendly resources such as solar power system and Sewerage treatment Plant (STP).About the property:This resort is covered by trees and beautiful gardens that also make it eco-friendly. In fact, only 55% of the whole property is structure and the rest are all grass, trees, and gardens.The whole resort has 7 buildings in total; two 3-level buildings that have all the 12 deluxe and the residence of the owner, two 2-level buildings that have 12 standard rooms, one building where you can find the restaurant on its ground floor and the conference hall on the second floor, one building for the reception area where they receive the guests that are checking in and checking out, and lastly, a building where their generator is placed which is near the pool area.Tonglen Eco Resort has 24 rooms in total and it has only 2 types: Standard (30 sqm) and Deluxe (37 sqm). Each standard room has a spacious balcony, 1 queen-size bed, a refrigerator, television, telephone, a side table, closet, toilet and shower (hot and cold), and a safety deposit box (placed in the reception area). The deluxe rooms, on the other hand, are bigger than the standard rooms and almost have the same amenities; the only difference is it has 2 twin size beds.Furthermore, the resort has two lawns; one is near the reception area where there are nipa huts that can be a place to relax while appreciating the garden. The other one, on the other hand, is bigger than the latter and located right in front of the resort; the first thing you’ll see when you enter its premises. This wide private lawn is open for guests who love playing football.Location:This eco-friendly resort can found along the main road of Manggayad, Manoc-manoc, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan. It is situated somewhere in between of Emall (Station 3) and Station X. One interesting thing about this resort is, it is almost surrounded by the Paradise Garden Resort which is one of the big resorts here in Boracay Island.Location-wise, this resort has a lot of advantages. First is because it is located along the main road, meaning it can easily be seen and accessed by its guests; their transfer won’t be a problem either. Second, the white beach is only 10-15 minutes’ walk from the said resort.
