Bahay ni Ancho
Diniwid Road, Boracay Island, Philippines
This space was originally the art workspace of Ancho, an artist who was passionate in creating art pieces that were both practical and functional. His house concept design was to build a house that co-exists, co-relate and cooperate with its natural environment to have minimal impact done to its natural surroundings and use native, vernacular and recyclable materials that could withstand the island's climate and season change that has the same essentials that any regular house has. Since the space is located on a saddle ridge on Diniwid Hill, we always get a steady breeze coming from the White Beach and Bulabog Beach.
