The house was built in 2012, and held ground during Haiyan. It emerged undamaged, except for the roof. Only two adults live in the house so its almost new ( very little wear and tear).
This was house was built with love, attention, and care, as it was going to be the lifetime residence of the couple. Premium hardwood used for window and door frames, masonry was meticulously supervised, and no compromise was made in any part of the construction. The couple , a writer and an orchidologist is plannig to move to a farm residence, as the area is now a commercial area, based on changes of the city's comprehensive land use.
The house is a few minutes away from Robinson's Mall Tacloban North ( undergoing construction) , the new bus terminal and Tacloban Doctors Hospital.
The second floor is a four-bedroom existing bed and breakfast business, while the ground floor is a residence. The house provides a steady income and holds alot of promise for more enterprising new owners.
